I was lucky enough to got invited to stay at the The May Fair Hotel London while I was attending LFW this season. The whole experience was amazing. I got to the airport where a nice Mercedes Benz car was waiting to take me to the hotel. Once we arrived, the friendly staff did my check in and got me a room although it was early in the morning. After taking a shower in the beautiful marble bathroom I went out to walk the area.

I've been in London several times, most of them working and covering the Fashion Week for Harpers Bazaar. I stayed in Shoreditch, in Camdem Town and St Pancreas. I have to say that The May Fair Hotel's location couldn't be better. In the heart of Mayfair area, you are as center as you can get in the spread out London - which makes your life much easier. Steps from Dover Street where you will find two of my favorite shops, Dover Street Market and Acne Studios.

You can also find Nobu restaurant right on the other side of the street from the hotel. If you don't feel like going out, May Fair Kitchen is a great option, where you will find tasty meat cuts, fresh seafood and vegetarian options. If you are up to a laid-back or fun night you can visit The May Fair Bar, were we had the chance to meet some of the super friendly hotel staff & Edelman team, while sharing awesome drinks and food.

Finally the modern gym fitted my routine perfectly, as I woke up early in the morning to do some work out and in a little better shape during the exhausting Fashion Month. After the gym I took a shower, went for a very complete breakfast and headed out for work. Two final notes, the internet is amazingly fast - which is very important for me, and probably most of the people today - and I was allowed to do a late check-out as I couldn't leave my room until I finished a skype meeting. I'm already looking forward to my next London Fashion Week season.
