UBUD

We can say that the best things in Ubud happen inside the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan. Here, the sound of the river and the palms forest are only revealed for some lucky few.

Our last destination after one month of non-stop travel around Southeast Asia, was the beautiful Island of Bali. This paradise is long known for its spiritual vibes, friendly locals and natural jungle surroundings.

After a short car ride from the airport we arrived to this laid back luxury oasis in the middle of the Ubudian Jungle. We are the type of people who like to go out and explore, but this trip was the exception to the rule. When a place is as good as the Four Season’s Ubud you have to relax and enjoy the hotel experience.

Every morning we woke up with the sound of nature, and opened our bedroom windows to the jungle view. We ordered room breakfast at the villa to enjoy our private garden and the pool a little bit longer. We then walked in between the rice fields to the gravity yoga house which… let me tell you… has a pretty unique location. The class is fun and challenging, and is a must try for any yoga level.

Oh! And to get to indulge in phenomenal never ending massages… this is just another chapter of the story. Just try them and you will understand what we are talking about.

It’s hard to decide which is the best time of the day at this paradise. Early in the morning everything is surrounded by a mystical mist. But as the sun starts going down, the 'golden hour' hits everything transforming the place into a movie set. Relax and enjoy a drink in the insanely round shaped open lobby. Local musicians playing by the bar will be in charge of making the cocktail hour even more special.

The Riverside Café makes the perfect dinner spot. It’s cuisine has a international menu where you can find a wide variety form oysters and truffle risotto to fresh local fish and delicious imported meat. Save some space for the chocolate fondant. You won’t regret it.

We can't be objective, this is our favorite hotel in the world, and our only regret is… not staying longer.
