The chicest 'Village' at Jimbaran Bay

The great thing about Bali is that you don’t have to choose between jungle and sea, you can have both with only a short ride, and combine them like we did. After spending 3 days in Ubud we headed to the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. This beautiful village-like resort hangs on a cliff that overlooks the whole bay and its gorgeous sea.
You can relax in your own private pool or head to the mouth-dropping infinity pool to take that-perfect-instagram-photo and lay down all day long.
It is cocktail time once again! Walk through the village’s paths until you hit the beach to have a astonishing dinner at Sundara. The mood here is vibrant and chic. Start with some refreshing passion fruit and whiskey drink or, why not, a piña colada - thank god for the globalization. Our VERY recommended plates to share are: the tuna chirashi, the crab and coconut salad, the sake cod and the smoked mahi mahi.
After dinner, take a walk to see the fisherman stands with its candles shining on each table, and the smoke from the grilled fish coming out of their kitchens. You may also be lucky and see the night offerings that consist on flowers, food and light paper lanterns elevating to the black skies - a pretty magical moment.
Morning rituals are also sacred… take a delicious breakfast at the Villa and do some more yoga… after all… you are in Bali… Namaste for that!
We were lucky to stay during the weekend to enjoy a great brunch by the bay. Octopus and fried sushi instead of eggs? Yes, please!
To resume the Bali experience in three words: relax, relax and relax.
